Saint Gaudenzio

On the 22nd of January Novara celebrates its Patron Saint (as well as the first bishop of the city) Saint Gaudenzio (334/337 – 417).

The Marroni (smoked chestnuts perforated and tied together) are a traditional food of this celebration.

There were about 30 dwarves scattered along the grove.
